Bali gains its reputation as the exotic tropical island paradise, with its majestic volcanoes, spectacular terraced rice fields, golden beaches, and a rich and colourful culture. With over 20,000 temples and every temple holds an odalan (temple festival) once every 210 days, Bali is famous for its ceremonies and can consider the island would everyday hold a festival somewhere. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. Its capital of Denpasar is located at the southern part of the island. Since the late 20th century, the province has had a rise in tourism.
